do you dare?

Todays smoothie adventure:
1 handful of 1 inch chopped raw kale
8 cubed pieces of watermelon
1 scoop whey protein isolate
1 handful of sunflower seeds (healthy fat and protein source)
1 teaspoon of chia seeds (great source of healthy fats and fiber)
1 teaspoon on maca powder (great source of aminos and efas as well as an adrenal booster)
8 oz of vanilla coconut milk (lactose alternative)
4 ice cubes (it will not taste good without this)
Blend and drink ( I use a vitamix which delivers the goods every time)
I rate this one an 8.5/10. It definitely didn’t dissapoint

No Excuse Fish Oil

I’ve heard all the complaints about how disgusting fish oil is.

Even though its one of the best things on the planet for our health, people won’t seem to put up with the momentary aftertaste.

Now that I’ve tried Nordic Naturals Artic Omega Effervescent product….there are no more viable excuses.

Its flat out delicious and delivers 500mg of Omega 3′s and 1200 IU’s of Vitamin D3 in one glass.  All you do is mix it with water and drink.

It tastes like an Orange Julius…oops I just dated myself. It is sweetened with Stevia which is a natural sweetner.

I think we are running out of excuses.

Natural Medicine: while you can

If you’re on the verge of getting ill and beginning to show signs of disease…I urge you to explore Natural Medicine therapies while you can.  This is when they work best. Once you’re in the allopathic care fold its much more difficult to employ natural treatments.  If you are under allopathic care and would like to integrate therapies working with a trained integrative MD or Naturopath is your best bet in finding safe and effective integrative therapies.
